Accreditation

Accreditation to institutes is granted by DOEACC, keeping in view the norms and standards prescribed by the Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Govt. of India & AICTE.

Full accreditation is considered and awarded by DOEACC, based on the performance of the institute and results in All-India Examinations (presently for `O' & `A' levels only).

Examinations

The DOEACC Society conducts examinations on an all-India basis for all the levels in January and July each year. These examinations are conducted independently and overseen by an examination board consisting of experts/professionals from premier academic institutes and software houses. Examinations include theory as well as practical examinations.

Registration

With the DOEACC Society, registration is a pre-requisite for candidates appearing in the examinations. Registration is valid for a specified period. A candidate can register only for a particular level at a time. Registration is open throughout the year. However, cut-off dates have been prescribed for receipt of completed registration forms. The number of registrants with the society is about 4.21 lacs.
