One of the most important goals of JLJ students is their career Planning and management. JLJ Placement Team works closely with the students to help them, identify and choose from myriad opportunities.
JLJ's Placement Cell (JPC), in partnership with students assists them in determining the next step for their careers.
Career Events : JPC holds various workshops for developing student's personality, apart from the technical and managerial knowledge they acquire through their academic curriculum. Workshops on improving personality, interviewing skills, negotiating skills, body language, interpersonal skills, business letter writing etc. are held frequently as part of their course.
Career Counseling : Students meet the JPC counsellor to start developing their career strategy. Individual / group counselling continues regularly throughout the program.
Self Assessment : Self assessment exercises are done, which help students realize their strengths and weaknesses and help them move in the right direction.
Self Development Workshops : Various workshops are held by JPC on communication, presentation, leadership, motivation, team & task management, personal quality initiative etc. to help improve the personality of the students.
Industry Workshops : People from various industries and functional areas share their experiences with the students.
Job Search Workshop : Students learn strategies & tips for interviewing, networking, negotiation & more. They are taught the various methods of searching for a job & helped in doing so.
Resumes Advice : Students are helped in making the resume.
